Conventional syngas refining processes are employed to produce value added products at surface. Produced syngas can be refined using proven commercial licensed syngas refining process. CleanCarbon Energy is a unique combination of individuals with substantial project engineering, process design, electrical engineering, project management and venture capital experience in the oil and gas industry that actively promotes the development of gas-to-liquids technologies both on conventional natural gas, CAT biomass and Downhole Flexfuel Gasifier enabled projects.

CleanCarbon Energy has been founded by engineers and operators with experience working on technology intensive Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) in situ thermal projects in the oilsands.
CleanCarbon has also allied itself with the Western Research Institute (WRI) on developing coal and/or biomass derived carbon fiber precursors.
The team both internally and through its consortium is capable of generating Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), HYSYS process simulations, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), ASME vessel designs, drilling and completion programs, power studies, electrical and automation drawings, civil drawings and equipment datasheets while taking a project through engineering, procurement, construction and operations.
